Greg and Nigel at gate between farms on ride into paeroa . greg and i meet on road and caught up at just after clevedon and nick joined up at intersection of inland and coastal routes sth of auckland. we took coastal and nigel inland

 short news as have to eat and get ready-its good news-still hanging in their. don’t want to go on but good news butt no worse and taking my meds regularly thanks to text reminders from Lee -Anne.. she has been a godsend and no way i would have got to day 7 without her help and nursing,  not a chance. have been a few put outs and yesterday talked to a couple of guys biking together and ones of thems son had but problems and had t pull out so done to two now. biked a lot of yesterday with greg. about same algae. a builder from cambridge. he caught me just south of clevedon and we were joined by nigel a port environmental planner for ports of auckland who i saw in auckland and we caught him at tan intersection of the main route and the slightly longer coastal section of the route that we took. bike from their which i think is just short of miranda all together. 

sunny day, headwinds at times were strong and as has been the case strong on the up hills for me as i get off the seat and climb and relieve the b. hard out on the flat is more awkward but soldiered on. oh you saint lyall , no actually was a better day with better pain management. 

i think it helped that we sorted a seat technical issue in my eden cycles. my seat was moving and is up their with the main suspects now in my inquiry as to cause. but is spilt milk and a curiousity now. its hopefully sorted. 

sorry not regularly posting, wifi is difficult and my tech without proper computers is challenging. this machine won’t do capitals at the moment. i have veryold gear with me, apart from iphone which is a challenge for ones eyes and fingers as well.

all is good. someone said yesterday, wind was going t be less for a while. 

we may see family today saw we get into waikato latter in day. dot watchers and big help has been marion and david and tarly and alex. that will be a high light. so have to have break in and go.
